Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Meet your safari guide and leave Entebbe/Kampala in the morning for your Kibale and Queen Elizabeth safari, arriving at Kibale Forest National Park in the afternoon. On arrival, relax at the lodge as you get ready for the following day's adventure.

Chimp Trekking in Kibale Forest & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

Start the day with chimp trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, where you'll walk through beautiful jungle with the excitement of spotting chimpanzees along the way. After the chimp experience in the Primate Capital, set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. During this two-hour boat ride, you'll have the chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, birds and elephants along the shores of the channel. After the cruise, your guide takes you back to the lodge.

Game Drive in Kasenyi & Katwe Community Visit

Wake up early and get ready after breakfast before heading to the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth for an afternoon game drive, with hopes of spotting some of the Big Five — elephants, lions, buffalos, and antelope species such as waterbucks and bushbucks. After lunch, set off for the Katwe-Kabatooro Community Visit, where you'll see the Crater Lake known for salt mining, the local fishing village, and Lake Munyanyange, known for its migratory birds, including flamingos. You'll have the chance to interact with the local community before returning to your lodge.

Early Morning Game Drive & Transfer Back to Kampala/Entebbe

Wake up to the sounds of the jungle, have breakfast, and set off for an early morning game drive, hoping to spot cats returning from the night's hunt. You'll head to the Ishasha sector, famously known for its tree-climbing lions. If you're lucky, you may spot lions resting in the branches of the fig trees in the southern sector of the park, and possibly leopards too. Afterwards, begin the journey back to Kampala via Mbarara, with a lunch stop en route.
