Day-by-Day Itinerary
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Meet your safari guide and leave Entebbe/Kampala in the morning for your Queen Elizabeth safari. Our first stop on the way is the equator, for the experience of standing with one foot in each hemisphere. Continue on for lunch in the town of Mbarara, then do the last part of the journey through rolling hills with tea plantations. Arrive at the lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kalinzu Forest and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Start the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu Forest — a walk through beautiful jungle with the chance to see wild chimpanzees. After the trek, head back into Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. During this two-hour ride you have the chance of spotting hippos, crocodiles, birds, and elephants along the shores. Your guide then takes you back to the lodge for the evening.

Wake up early and get ready after breakfast before heading to the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning game drive. Soak up the last of this great nature experience before heading back to Kampala. Depending on timing, we can stop at the equator on the way.
