Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Our tour guide will meet you in Entebbe or Kampala, where you will be briefed about your trip before starting the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This scenic drive takes between 8-10 hours but is never boring, as each kilometer covered unveils Uganda's beautiful countryside, with stunning rolling hills, farms, and vibrant small towns. You will have a lunch stop at the Equator and dinner at the lodge.

Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the starting point for a preparatory briefing by park rangers ahead of the gorilla tracking experience, while local women entertain you with traditional Bakiga and Batwa dances. Our guide will then locate your allocated gorilla family and off you go — this activity takes 2-6 hours depending on gorilla movement, and the hike is as exciting as coming face to face with the silverback mountain gorillas, with good chances of spotting several bird species, monkeys, and sometimes forest elephants. After returning from the forest, you will take part in a Batwa cultural experience before driving to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight.

End of Tour
This is the day to reflect on the stories you'll take home after 3 days of adventure and how it feels to have been so close to the mountain gorillas. After breakfast, you will start the drive back to Kampala, stopping for lunch en route, before arriving at your hotel for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
